At 08.30 AM, you will start the 3-day get-away with a 3 and half hour drive through the scenic Red River Delta, which gives you a brief introduction of Vietnam's agricultural industry. You will arrive in Ha Long city at noon and board a traditionally styled junk. A fresh seafood lunch is waiting for you as you start your cruise among thousands of strange-shaped limestone islands. On your journey, you will visit the Surprising Grotto and you can climb up to the top of Titov Island where you can have the view over the bay and catch some amazing moments of sunset. You will then choose either to have a swim at the Titov beach or to come back to the junk and go for a swim in the middle of the bay before enjoying your dinner. You’ll spend your night in a private comfortable cabin.

You may wish for an early rise up for sunrise and swimming. After breakfast, the Junk continued its cruise among the bay. You then check out the boat to a smaller one for the cruise to Cat Ba Island. After having lunch on board, you will disembark at the Island’s Gia Luan Port. From here you have a transfer to Cat Ba National Park. Here you will climb up the Phu Lam Mountain, the highest point on Cat Ba Island, from there you can take the birds eyes over the green Lan Ha Bay. Your vehicle then picks you up and transfers you to your hotel in Cat Ba Town. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

The morning is at your leisure at the beach or having a walk to visit the small town of Cat Ba. In the early afternoon, you take a hydrofoil to Hai Phong. The cruise takes 1 hour. Your vehicle awaits here to transfer you to Hanoi.
