Thailand, or Thai for short, officially the Kingdom of Thailand, is an independent sovereign state in Southeast Asia, bordering Laos and Myanmar to the north, Laos and Cambodia to the east, and Cambodia to the east. It is bordered by the Gulf of Thailand and Malaysia to the south, Myanmar and the Andaman Sea to the west.
